Subject:      : Switching off of Street lights after 11P.M. daily.

 As decided in meeting taken by Principal Secretary Power, Punjab Govt. at Chandigarh on 26.5.09, Street lights in Punjab are to be switched off after 11 P.M. daily. You are requested to get the above instructions noted from the concerned persons in the Muncipal Corporations, Muncipal Committees,Notified Area Committees Or Nagar Panchayats etc., as the case may be, for meticulous compliance. Sr. XENs/DS/SDO/DS concerned may also be directed to ensure the compliance of above instructions by the respective MCs etc.
