Paper reading contest on Energy Conservation

In order to educate the students about the importance and saving of electricity in day to day life. Punjab State Power Corporation Limited has organised a paper reading contest on energy conservation in Senior Secondary School Bhairwal, Rajpura on July 16 in which 75 students of class 8th to 12th participated under the guidance of their teacher.

Er. Dharmpaul Dy. C.E./Demand Side Management PSPCL (A cell under C.E./Technical Audit & Inspection ,P.S.P.C.L.) , delivered the lecture regarding energy saving benefits. He also highlighted the uses of 9 watt LED bulbs, 20 watt tube lights, 50 watt BEE 5 star rating fans, 5 star rating submersible pumps motors etc.

Finally paper reading contest was concluded by distributing 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize along with participation certificate to the participants.
