No work No pay for striking officials : Spokesman

A spokesman of PSPCL informed that a section of employees have resorted to uncalled for and unjustified strike today. The strike remained peaceful and their was no impact of strike on the functioning of PSPCL. The attendance was almost full in head office and in field offices of PSPCL in the state. The power supply in the state remained uninterrupted and their was no report of any major break down. Spokesman further said that the principle of no work no pay will apply on the striking employees and disciplinary action will be taken as per services rules .
Er. Baldev Singh Sran CMD PSPCL however regretted for inconvenience if any faced by the consumers. CMD asked the striking employees not to resort to the agitational path when PSPCL management is always considerate towards their genuine demands. He further said that PSPCL management believe in table talk and solve the issues in cordial and amicable manner.
