Er.Baldev Singh Sran, CMD, PSPCL informed that PSPCL management is very serious to curb the menace of corruption in organization and is taking strict action against officers/ employees found indulging in corrupt practices.

Recently an Audio clip on social media came to the notice of higher authorities of PSPCL in which Er.Sandeep Kumar, CE/DS(Border), Amritsar was found demanding commission/ bribe from a contractor. PSPCL top management took a serious note and called a special Whole Time Directors Meeting at Patiala today in which Er.Sandeep Kumar CE Border was asked to explain about audio clip. Before Whole Time Directors Er.Sandeep Kumar admitted about the correctness of the audio clip. The Whole Time Directors after detailed deliberations decided to place Er.Sandeep Kumar CE under suspension and his H.Q. has been fixed in the office of Director/ Generation, PSPCL, Patiala besides that and EIC/Enforcement & CE/TA&I, PSPCL, Patiala will conduct a comprehensive enquiry in the case of audio clip regarding bribery from contractor and will submit a detailed report to Whole Time Directors within a week and further action would be taken accordingly.
