SUBJECT: Exemption from observing evening Peak Load Hours Restrictions by Large Supply Consumers falling on 24 Hours Urban Pattern Supply / Rural Feeders.

Reference P.R.Circular No. 02/98 dated 28.04.98, 03/98 dated 18.05.98 and 11/98 dated 29.07.98 regarding Evening Peak Load Hours Restrictions.
In confirmation to this office Memo No. 779/809/SO/PRC/LD-38 dated 19.01.2005 (FAX).
Evening Peak Load Hours Restrictions are applicable on all Large Supply Consumers vide P.R.Circular No. 02/98 and amendments thereof made as referred to above. Since power cuts of longer duration are being imposed on the rural feeders, it has been decided that evening Peak Load Hours Restrictions shall not be applicable on Large Supply Consumers being fed from following categories of feeders:

1. 24 Hours 3-Phase 3-Wire Urban Pattern Supply Feeders.
2. 24 Hours 3-Phase 4-Wire Urban Pattern Supply Feeders.
3. Mixed Rural Feeders.

It is, therefore, requested that all concerned consumers may be informed accordingly.
NOTE:

1. It is requested that these instructions shall be got displayed on the grid Sub-Stations and complaint centers besides informing various offices of Industrial Associations.
