Er.K.D.Chaudhri Chairman-cum-Managing Director Punjab State Power Corporation Limited has laid the foundation stone of multistoried corporate office building complex at Badungar,Patiala in which the offices of Shakti Vihar Sheds, Thermal Sheds and some head offices and 66KV Grid colony ,Patiala will be accommodated. Speaking on the occasion, Er.K.D.Chaudhri said that this multistoried corporate office will have all facilities required for modern day working in corporate culture and the building has been designed in such a way that where various activities of different offices will be coordinated. He also said that building has been designed with green building concept and shall be completed in span of two years. He further said that the total covered area of the building will be around 2.40 Lac Sqft in a plot of six acres and estimated cost of the building will be Rs.95 Crores.
The building will have spacious double height common entrance lobby which will have reception counters, conference hall,meeting halls, security offices ,bio metric attendance counters and guest waiting areas. Er. S.C Arora Director Finance, Er.K.L.Sharma Director Distribution, Er.M.R.Parhar Director Generation ,Er.Surinder Pall Director Commercial ,a numbers of chief Engineers and senior officers graced the occasion.
